Davis Chevrolet Gainesville is looking for an Automotive Parts Counter Person with General Motors parts experience. We are seeking a dedicated & detail oriented individual to join our growing team. Experience working at an automotive dealership is ideal.

Automotive Parts Counter Responsibilities

• Work with customers and technicians to identify required parts
• Advise customers on necessary and related parts needed
• Look up parts using electronic parts catalog system
• Input parts pricing on counter invoices and repair orders
• Handle phone calls and orders with customers and vendors
• Help with dealership parts ordering, inventory and returns
• Follow Privacy and Information Safeguards rules and procedures
• Maintain a clean work area and help with general housekeeping
• Other duties may also be assigned

Requirements

• Experienced counter positions need at least 1 year of dealership parts experience
• Proficient in email and basic computer skills – Reynolds experience is a big plus
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must take direction well and follow through entire task
• Must be able to perform other duties when assigned.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Some heavy lifting is required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

• Automotive Parts Sales Occupations: 1 year (Required)
