Compensation: $17.00-$17.50/hr depending on education & experience*

Hours of Position: Saturday, Sunday, Monday 3:15pm - 10:15pm (*other additional hours available if desired). If you are unavailable during the required days & times, please identify your availability in the questions section, as other schedules may be available.

Position Status: Part-time (21hr/wk min, but up to 35hr/wk if desired)

Location: Cloquet.

Description:

TLC of Duluth supports individuals with disabilities who live independently in our community. Join an amazing team of people who are passionate about making a difference in peoples' lives! This TLC Job Coach position will help an individual already employed in the Cloquet community. To be successful in this position, you must be positive, compassionate, reliable, patient, responsive and attentive to detail. TLC Job Coaches help individuals engage at work, remain focused on their assigned tasks, process interactions with customers and peers, advocate for their needs, and provide a safe sounding board when thinking through questions & concerns. Applicants, if interested, could also be included in other assignment that involve working on building independent living skills, community supports building, and homemaking. This position falls in the broad category of Direct Support Professional (DSP).

NOTES: The primary client supported by this hire has requested a female. This hire would be required to work 3p-10p Saturday, Sunday, and Monday's for their weekly schedule, though additional hours are also available.

Requirements:

• Afternoon/Evening availability and at least one weekend day
• Driver's license
• Ability to pass MVR check
• Ability to pass the DHS NetStudy 2.0 background check
• Ability to work both independently, yet warmly receive direction. The successful applicant must be able to make independent decisions based upon standard policies and procedures, as well as use personal judgment in-step with TLC's core values in day-to-day activities.
• HS Diploma or GED equivalent
