Part-time weekend Nanny required for a Fairfield County family (Riverside, CT) with one child (almost 2yrs) and a newborn (born October 2022) to start ASAP. Specific duties to be negotiated with the family, but in general, you will be responsible for providing nurturing care, playing with their energetic toddler in an active, stimulating, and age-appropriate way, drop off/pick up for classes and school, facilitating play dates/activities, feeding, naps and routines for the newborn, light housekeeping and in general an extra set of hands for the parents. Family meal prep, grocery shopping and ad hoc errands are expected with this role. To be successful, you will need to be proactive, loving and engaged and should be looking to commit to a family who values communication in a warm and happy environment. The ideal candidate has flexibility with their schedule and is available for after hours/weekends and domestic/international travel.

Location: Riverside, CT

Start date: ASAP

Days/times: Either Friday - Sunday or Saturday/Sunday only. Flexibility with schedule/guaranteed hours for the right candidate. Guaranteed between 25-35 hrs/week.

Children: One son (almost 2 yrs), newborn (October 2022); baby nurse expected for 10-20 weeks for primary care for the newborn

Conditions: $25 - $30/ hour* plus two weeks paid leave per year

• Authorization to work in the US
• A minimum of 2 years experience as a nanny, 3-5 years preferred
• Education or equivalent knowledge of stages of child growth and development
• Exceptional childcare references that attest to strong communication skills, reliability, punctuality, maturity and high emotional intelligence
• Readiness to help with light housekeeping as needed (laundry for family, organizing, tidying apartment, etc.). Housekeeper is employed by family
• Ability to commit for a minimum of 1 year - looking for a long term commitment
• A clean background to pass our comprehensive background check and social media checks
• Interest/experience in cooking for household
• Driver's License with clean driving record
• Flexibility to travel domestically/internationally
• Flexibility for additional hours (including late night or overnight hours on a semi-regular basis)

Additional qualifications we look for (but not required):

• Training and certifications such as First Aid, CPR & AED
• Fluency in one or more foreign language/s
