We are looking for a friendly and professional team member who would enjoy working with our team. The shifts would would be a few days a week 6AM -2PM. The work has a lot of quiet downtime with only 1 person per shift. All Covid-19 regulations must be followed.

We are an independent motel located in Minden, LA. We have 60 rooms located at 1404 Sibley Road. We cater to industrial and leisure guests who come to Minden to work, visit families, or simply enjoy a night's rest while traveling on I-20.

Your day to day:

Check-in/check-out hotel guests in a timely and professional manner.

Register guests, issue room keys, provide information on hotel services.

Answer phones in a prompt and courteous manner.

Accurately process all cash and credit card transactions in accordance with established procedures.

Communicate requests or issues to management that may require additional monitoring or follow-up.

Respond appropriately to guest complaints. Make appropriate service recovery gestures in order to ensure total guest satisfaction.

Qualifications and Requirements:

High School diploma or equivalent, plus one year front desk/guest service experience preferred. Some college preferred.

You must be able to pass a Background Check. Must have valid driver's license.

This job requires ability to perform the following:

Carrying or lifting items weighing up to 20 pounds.

Handling objects, products and computer equipment.

Use a keyboard to operate various property management and reservations systems.

Communication skills are utilized a significant amount of time when interacting with guests.

Required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays.

COVID-19 considerations:
Due to Covid-19 our staff are required to bring a mask while facing the guests. The front desk is separated by a night window due to the lobby being closed to the public. Sanitizer, Lysol, and other disinfectants provide.
