This is a part-time opportunity, NOT a full-time position.

Pay is between $12-$15. per hour depending upon your experience and qualifications.

Must be able available to work Mondays and Thursdays.

Kumon Math and Reading Center of Round Rock is seeking part-time Assistants.

We are searching for with EXCELLENT math and/or reading skills.

This is an excellent opportunity for high school students, college students, retired educators, and people who are seeking for a second part-time job.

Preferred Qualifications:

*Good instructional skills, an ability to observe, understand, and communicate with children

*Ability to convey ideas and concepts in a simple and clear manner to children

*Responsible, reliable, punctual, able to multi-task and follow directions

*Math Assistant: strong Math aptitude; High proficiency in algebra a MUST; Strength in calculus, trigonometry a plus

*Reading Assistant: strong proficiency in high school literature

*EL Assistant: comfortable working with preschoolers

Responsibilities included but are not limited to the following:

• Grading homework assignments and leading children with class work
• Preparing materials for class work, homework, data entry and filing
• Other tasks may be required for the operation of the center

MUST be available to work the following days and times:

Mondays: 3:00pm to 7:30pm

Thursdays: 3:00pm to 7:30pm
