SUMMARY: Assist the security department by dispatching security personnel and by promoting and maintaining the company’s security and property protection programs of employees and guests ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time. • Issuing keys and radios to staff, preforming audits of key and radios to make sure they are returned • Handle all functions related to radio and phone inventory. This includes check in/out, providing detailed information regarding broken radios and notifying manager of any other issues relative to this area • Handle all calls for security department and dispatches security or other department, law enforcement and emergency response personnel as warranted by the calls • Issues Keys and Keeps track of key inventory • Monitor cameras, radio and alarm systems • Monitors guest service issue calls and dispatches to appropriate department for resolution • Creates notes in computer system regarding call and resolution, when call is complete • Keep a computer log of all calls that are given to security personnel • Have working knowledge of all camera and alarm systems • Have a working knowledge of the V1 system to assist with information retrieval and maintain guest notes • Assist with Lost and Found • Be knowledgably of all security and loss control practices, policies and procedures. • Assist with incident investigations as needed or requested • Keep work area clean, neat and well organized at all times • As needed assist with and /or coordinate shuttle service to provide excellent service • Monitor all-weather warnings and contact MOD via radio of severs weather warnings, • Requires regular and predictable attendance • All other duties as assigned by management EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: (Level 3) High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.LANGUAGE SKILLS: (Level 3) Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: (Level 2) Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. REASONING ABILITY: (Level 3) Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. QUALIFICATIONS: • Requires good negotiation and listening skills.
- Ability to act independently with little supervision. • Skilled in problem solving and staff training. • Efficiently handle multiple duties. • Requires the ability to operate various office equipment to include a computer, word processing, spreadsheets, voice mail, copier, fax and calculator.
