PeopleReady Skilled Trades - is looking for a Journey Painter in the Albuquerque area or surrounding cities! Renovation of a 50,000 square foot Dollar Tree - roll & brush painter with 3 years commercial renovation experienceNote - Pay rate for this job is $20 / hour

- Preparing surfaces prior to paint
- Removing old paint, filling holes, washing walls
- Using sandpaper, wire brushes, and abrasive blasting to prepare surfaces
- Sealing cracks and corners where building materials meet
- Applying primers or sealers to prepare new surfaces, such as bare wood or metal, for finish coats
- Smooth or texture surfaces, using sandpaper, scrapers, brushes, steel wool, or sanding machines.
- E-Verify - Eligible to work in the USA
- Basic Painter tools required
- Comfortable working from lift up to 30 ft.
- Minimum 3 years of experience on commercial or residential construction sites
