Paint Technician
Operations // Production // Full-Time

As a Paint Technician, you will represent Nomad through your craftsmanship, leadership, and efficiency. What you will do:

• Use industry best practices to operate spray gun during paint and coating applications to various materials and projects. Apply single stage and base clear paints including metallic paint based upon customer and vehicle specification.
• Layout logos, symbols, or designs on painted surfaces, according to blueprint specifications, using measuring instruments, stencils, or patterns.
• Prep project for paint using industry best practices and ensure surface prep meets paint manufacturer specifications for adhesion. Remove accessories such as chrome or mirrors from vehicles and mask other surfaces with paper or tape to protect them from paint.
• Monitor painting operation and correct any detected flaws.
• Use your high attentiveness to detail to work independently, inspect your work and ensure it meets Nomad quality standards.

Qualifications:

• A High School diploma or GED received
• A minimum of 1-5+ years of documented work experience in auto body and automobile painting.
• Bonus points for an apprenticeship and/or formal training in the application of automotive paint.
• A willingness to learn and apply Nomad Core Values to your day-to-day work
• A flexible mindset that prioritizes project deadlines and safety
• The ability to walk, crouch, and perform various physical tasks alongside your team

Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
