Job description

Spherion is hiring up to five packers immediately for ACCO Brands (formerly Mead) in Alexandria, PA. ACCO Brands is a leading American manufacturer of office products, notebooks, and calendars in your area!

You will be doing hand packing of varying sizes of notebooks and paper products, as well as lots of labeling to help the shipping department. This will require a lot of standing, kneeling, bending, and stacking. You may also be required to use permanent markers to mark boxes.

Responsibilities:

  • Weighing packages and labeling them appropriately
  • Inspecting packages to ensure they are not damaged
  • Inspecting shipping containers to ensure they meet shipping regulations
  • Assembling daily orders by shipping location or any other shipping categories

What we're looking for:

- Highly efficient individuals responsible for inspecting and packing products

- Must possess working knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices

- Some production experience preferred but not required

- Strong eye for detail and organization skills

- Weekly pay + guaranteed benefits!

- 8 hour shifts available
