From your PASSION to ours

Packaging team members are responsible for the efficient packing of cheese following all safety and Good Manufacturing Practice policy. Candidates must be available to work over 40 hours per week.

From your EXPERTISE to ours

Key responsibilities for this position include:

• Meet production efficiency levels while maintaining a high quality product.
• Efficiently pack finished cheese products, to include supplying packaging materials and ensuring a high quality of product and final packaging. Monitor cheese packaging, labeling, and printing quality ensuring accuracy of printed coding.
• Maintain clean and organized work area.
• Must be able to multi-task and be a self-starter; take the initiative to ensure the continued flow of the packing process.
• Interact with team to maintain an open line of communication enabling efficient process flow.
• Report problems and/or concerns to the on duty supervisor.
• Follow required work related safety rules.
• Apply the Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Standard.

Candidate must have the following attributes/skills; strong attention to detail and accuracy, personal qualities of tact and dependability, possess good manual dexterity and able to push/pull/lift and carry at least 30 pounds continuously (e.g. twisting, gripping, lifting, bending, reaching).

Requirements

· High School Diploma/General Education Degree (GED) is preferred

Experience

· Previous employment in a manufacturing environment; working in a fast paced environment around moving equipment.

· Stable and dependable work history is required

Skills/Abilities

· Strong attention to detail and accuracy

· Manual dexterity

· Push/pull/lift and carry at least 30 pounds continuously and 50 pounds occasionally,

· Perform repetitive movements (e.g. twisting, gripping, lifting, bending, reaching)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $17.50 per hour
