Looking for Individuals with GMP to operate packaging machines! (Cartoning, Tubing, Sachets, Wrappers or Stick machines and accessories)

• Located in Plymouth
• Contract-to-Hire
• 1st Shift: 6am-4:30pm Tuesday-Friday
• 2nd Shift: 4:20pm-2:50am Monday-Thursday

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Observe product and machine operation to detect defects or machine malfunction during production run.
• Documenting of output and downtime.
• Accurately complete batch records and logbooks.
• Label and palletize pressed product.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

EDUCATION:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two (2) year college or technical school graduate; or one (1) year related field experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Basic mathematical concepts of addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to manage time when deadlines need to be met.

EQUIPMENT AND TOOLS USED: Depending on which machine you are working on

• Scales
• Dust Collector
• Pallet Jack
• Meto Lift
• Calculator
• Hand Tools
• Check Weigher
• Cleaning Utensils

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Regularly required to sit, stand, and walk throughout the building.
• lift up to 50 pounds and move up to 100 pounds on occasion.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

The employee may be required to work with hazardous materials. The employee may be exposed to hot surfaces, hot air, and electrical hazards. While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently works with moving machinery.
