We are looking to add a motivated outside sales professional to the Columbia, South Carolina area, as part of our Carolina Bearing & Belting division.

About Weimer Bearing/Carolina Bearing & Belting

Our growing company specializes in the fabrication of conveyor belting and the distribution of high tech electro/mechanical systems to major manufacturing and maintenance companies in a variety of industries. These products include conveyor belting solutions, mechanical power transmission, bearings, electronic motion control, material handling, and fluid power. Carolina Bearing & Belting, a division of Weimer Bearing & Transmission, is a privately held, forward thinking, progressive company looking to add an outside salesperson to the Columbia area.

** This is a remote position with occasional travel to our Greenville location **

Responsibilities:

• Manage your own territory, including daily travel
• Hunt down new leads, develop and implement sales plans, and grow sales across the territory
• Freedom to manage yourself and set your own path
• Wide open territory with endless possibilities
• Be part of the decision making - work closely with manufacturers and suppliers to learn and market new products
• Create and maintain long lasting relationships with customers, including engineers, maintenance and purchasing professionals
• Learn our product and services through a thorough training course and mentorship program

Experience:

• 2+ years sales experience in power transmission or a related industry preferred
• We will train the right candidate!
• Bachelor's Degree
• This position is perfect for an individual with a technical background and a hunter sales mentality

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $133,615.75 per year
