A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A PROGRAM OUTREACH SPECIALIST / ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
As a Program Outreach Specialist / Administrative Assistant, you're responsible for engaging with our program participants and helping them fulfill their requirements. When a participant fails to attend a scheduled activity, you mail letters to their home or call to check in. You arrange visits to a participant's home when there are welfare concerns as well as conduct phone calls and send out reminders about scheduled orientation. You also send out reminders for retention, hiring, and other program events.
Additionally, you re-engage participants who've missed appointments by offering solutions and resources. You determine if a reasonable circumstance exists for participants who've been absent and collect the required documentation. Using our case management system, you document all contact with participants. You also upload documentation related to job placement, retention milestones, reasonable circumstances, and medical claims.
As needed, you deploy tools, customer surveys, and approve marketing material. When potential customers use our program helpline, you respond to inquiries and answer questions about our program requirements. You also conduct monthly case audits, collect and timestamp documents, and uphold our agency's policies. QUALIFICATIONS FOR A PROGRAM OUTREACH SPECIALIST / ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
- High school diploma OR equivalent education and experience
- Demonstrated track record for providing exceptional customer service
- Valid driver's license
Some college is preferred. Bilingual in French, Spanish, Portuguese, Swahili, and Arabic would be a plus, but multiple factors will be taken into consideration.
