AAA is seeking a passionate, bilingual Community Outreach Specialist to join our team in Portland, OR!

Responsible for designing and implementing opportunities that foster community outreach, brand awareness, and engagement with AAA’s products and services. This role identifies, develops, and executes plans that support the club’s commitment to serving all communities within our territory. Works in coordination with Environment, Social, and Governance (ESG) programs and supports both external and internal AAA communities throughout Oregon and Idaho.

Desired Skills/Experience:

• 3-5 years’ experience in communications, marketing, community-based programs, event coordination or similar.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) skills required.
• Strong knowledge of diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging practices; ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Experience executing upon brand marketing and style guidelines.
• Must be highly detailed and organized with the ability to manage a large volume of data and deadlines across internal and external customers over twenty plus regional locations. Sense of urgency, follow through and high level of responsiveness required.
• Position requires strong oral/written communication skills and relationship management skills.
• Must possess strong customer service skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
• Must have ability to analyze problems, think creatively, and make independent decisions or take independent actions based on sound judgment.
• Proficiency with Excel, scheduling programs, PowerPoint, and other computer systems necessary.
