Avenues Recovery Center is seeking to hire an Outreach Coordinator!

Avenues Recovery Drug Rehab & Detox Centers offer premier inpatient and outpatient Addiction Recovery Treatment to local communities throughout the country. With our team of skilled medical and clinical professionals, Avenues Recovery brings first class treatment and recovery.

Primary Focus: The primary function of the outreach coordinator is to facilitate placement in treatment for those struggling with addiction by educating and maintaining professional relationships in the community that are guided by the Avenues' philosophy and mission.

Primary Responsibilities:

Outreach

• Represent the Avenues philosophy and mission in all professional interactions
• Educate communities and clients on addiction and services available and the unparalleled clinical program available at Avenues
• Communicate the clinical impact, features of our premier clinical program and all services offered at Avenues
• Develop and maintain relationships across communities with providers, leaders, advocates, families, and clients
• Attend and engage in community outreach initiatives
• Conduct and facilitate individual and family crisis intervention as needed

Networking

• Market the Avenues brand at all events, conferences, engagements, meetings etc.
• Utilize Avenues social media and networking platforms
• Build and foster professional relationships with local hospitals; provide in service trainings for hospital staff
• Build and foster professional relationships with doctors, MAT providers, individual therapists, attorneys, probation officers and any other prospective referral sources
• Build and foster professional relationships with other substance abuse treatment providers and organizations; IOP, residential, detoxes, etc.

Administrative

• Understand the services provided and current contacts at each Avenues facility
• Collaborate with Admissions team on potential clients
• Maintain a collaborative relationship with Executive and Clinical Directors to support the best interest of all potential clients
• Communicate effectively and proactively with the National Director of Clinical Engagement, Executive Director, all staff, clients, collateral contacts, and referral sources.

• Utilize Avenues print and digital media
• Maintain active logs of all engagements, meetings, events, and calls
• Develop and maintain an active contact list .
• Ensure weekly reports are completed.
• Appropriate use of expenses and working within the budget.

Required Education

• Graduation from High School or GED/Bachelor's Degree is preferred
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language

Required Experience

• A minimum of 1-year experience in treatment industry preferred.
