Outpatient Mental Health Practitioner/Professional – Independent Contractor Opportunity

Clinical Supervision Provided for LPCC and LICSW candidates

NorthStar Regional (NSR) is currently recruiting for an Outpatient Mental Health Practitioner in an independent contractor role. This position provides therapeutic services for adults, adolescents, children, couples and families in a community mental health setting.

Client appointments are via Telehealth and in-person. All in person sessions follow strict Minnesota Department of Health guidelines for safety of staff and clients. Providers may work from home when providing Telehealth.

• Chanhassen, Chaska, Maple Grove options for in-person visits

Hours

• Schedule: Flexible schedule available
• Staffed Clinic hours: Monday thru Friday, 8am – 5pm
• Telehealth: By appointment

Job details

• Operate own psychotherapy practice in association with an established mental health provider
• NSR manages the referral process
• NSR provides billing services
• NSR provides Clinical Supervision towards licensure

Salary: $50,000 - $80,000 a year, commission-based role (50/50-60/40) with bonus potential

Education Requirements

To work as a mental health professional and deliver patient care at NorthStar Regional, one must meet the certification or licensing requirements in the state of Minnesota. One of the following degrees is required:

• M.A., Ph.D. or Psy.D.in psychology (If M.A., must be LP)
• Master's degree in Clinical Social Work
• Master's degree in Counseling

Additionally, you must be seeking Licensure or be Licensed in one of the following MN certifications:

• Licensed Psychologist
• Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor
• Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $36,962.00 - $92,432.00 per year

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday

• Master's (Preferred)
