Description:
Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audience
Knowledge of Oracle database installation / configuration best practices and Database upgrade/migration approaches
Knowledge of database internals/views to help troubleshoot issues
Skills to identify tuning opportunities, implement improvements and advise developers on SQL tuning options
Ability to develop projects required for design of metrics, analytical tools, benchmarking activities and best practices
Move existing database to AWS
The move is from the old environment to the new environment.
Note from the manager:
AWS DMS is not the mechanism. We would be migrating the databases since we will not be getting direct access to the old company databases. It is going to be old school backup/restore methodology with RDS/EC2 experience is a must.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $47.45 - $65.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
