Optical Territory Sales Manager needed for Mississippi Manufacturing Lab

We are looking for an Optical Territory Sales Manager to help us increase our sales revenues and maintain customer relationships within an assigned geographical area. In this role, we seek outstanding organizational and sales skills. We expect you to be an excellent communicator who understands customer needs. Requirements:- Create and execute a territory sales plan that meets or exceeds established sales targets and supports Superior’s revenue and profit objectives.
- Identify market trends and competitive strategies that will assist in the development and execution of the territory sales plan.
- Makes physical (in office) and touch calls (e.g., Phone, email) to Eye Care Professional accounts within your assigned geographic territory for the purpose of generating sales and building enduring customer relationships.
- The call day begins and ends commensurate with the times that accounts will see representatives.
- Prepare quarterly call plans, route plans, and daily physical call plans to optimize time use.
- Deliver product training and education to ECPs and their staff
- Administration time (including time for reporting and planning) should be handled within the daily routine at either the beginning and/or end of the business day and between calls.
- Actively analyze account metrics and assist customers through direct training and/or implementation of other programs in problem-solving within opportunity areas (e.g., non-adapt, fitting issues, mounting skills, customer presentations skills, etc.)
- Execute Superior’s marketing programs and promotions
- Fabricate long-term and mutually beneficial relationships with existing and new customers
- Maintain consistent communication and timely follow-up with customers and prospects and be available and responsive to customer’s real-time needs
- Complete sales activity reports and presentations in a timely manner
- Work effectively with internal departments (Marketing, Customer Care, lab personnel, Accounting) to ensure a high standard of customer service is being provided to every customer
- Other duties may be assigned
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
- Post-Secondary Degree, College Diploma or relevant experience
- 3-5 years of related sales experience
- Demonstrated sales track record, new sales track record & quota attainment
- Computer Skills
- Using i-pad, i-phone & laptop (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Demonstrated effectiveness in new business development and lead qualification
