Rosin Eyecare is currently seeking an experienced optical lab technician to join our team! We value associates who have a passion for quality and work well within a team environment. This will be a full time position and comes with all benefits.

Schedule: Monday through Friday - 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

The Lab technician at Rosin Eyecare is required to have basic hands-on mechanical skills and to ensure mass production efficiently. Primary responsibilities include running the day to day operations by assisting the Lab Manager to ensure quality and same day service standards are met, and providing superior internal customer service to retail, lab, and distribution.

• Sort lenses by date, prescription, modifications and department
• Operates all lab machinery to fabricate quality eye wear that conforms to Company standards and tolerances
• Precision eyeglass lens manufacturing, adjusting and repairing eyeglasses
• Minimizes and accurately records breakage
• Maintains awareness of same day service using “Ready When Promised” production board
• Clean blank lenses for processing
• Inspect lenses for inclusions, scratches and other imperfections
• Prioritize each job for processing by treatment and department
• Performs all other duties or assignment delegated by proper authority to ensure workflow is unaffected

Position Requirements:

• At least 1 year experience in the field is required
• Ensure and maintain the cleanliness of all equipment, workstations and overall facility
• Ability to stand during the majority of the work schedule.
• Must be able to work 20-30 hours per week
• Ability to multitask and prioritize under minimum supervision
• Hardworking and focused on excellence
• Must be detail oriented
• Work in a safe manner to prevent injury and product loss.
