RESPONSIBILTIES INCLUDE:

We are looking for an Operations Specialist to ensure that New Age Logistics is proactive and responsive to the needs of our customers. The ideal candidate will maintain and develop relationships with customers and carriers and effectively execute shipment transactions while exceeding customer expectations.

• Shipment receipt and load building within the Transportation Management System
• Track and trace shipments for timely pick-up and delivery
• Update TMS with relevant data and comments
• Field and answer customer inquiries and requests
• Resolve late or distressed shipments with carriers and customers
• Develop and maintain relationships with carriers and customers
• Set pick-up and delivery appointments

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• High energy and engagement; a highly trusted team player
• Customer Service or Operations experience
• Demonstrated sense of urgency to complete time-critical tasks
• Ability to be a quick thinker, and able to find the solution independently
• Effective professional communication both written and oral
• Good organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in TMS, Outlook, and MS Office applications

Additional items we would prefer to see:

• 1-2 years of experience in logistics, supply chain management or related transportation field

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related discipline
