Hermes Worldwide in Commerce City is a leader in Colorado’s luxury transportation industry. We are currently looking for an experienced operations manager to join our family-owned business.

Our new operations manager will be responsible for providing cooperative leadership and managing processes to ensure the company meets and maintains all expectations regarding our high level of service, strong safety record, and operational efficiency.

We would expect you to take a leadership role with operational innovations to maximize profitability and to manage information and reporting. As well as promote, develop and maintain a work environment that celebrates a high level of competence in job performance and customer service.

Additionally, you will be given the expectation to support and hold your team accountable to all Hermes Worldwide policies and procedures.

The perfect candidate for Hermes' next Operations Manager will have the following characteristics:

  • At least two years of operations management in a service and/or transportation industry.
  • Be a tremendous communicator with exceptional listening skills.
  • Capable of handling multiple tasks at once with proficiency.
  • Enjoy talking to people and developing extraordinary team members.
  • Will be a fast learner and a self-starter.
  • Have a high level of focus when it comes to details.

Requirements:

Skills Needed for the Operations Manager position:

  • High level of computer literacy with the ability to troubleshoot and solve tech issues
  • Oversee operations, including scheduling/dispatch, general operations, FMCSA and DOT compliance, and all other aspects as assigned.
  • Exceptional hiring, retention, and training skills.
  • Ability to help design and format company policies and procedures.
  • Develop sales and operational processes and identify revenue opportunities.
  • Maintain all confidential information as needed by law and Hermes procedures.
  • Flexibility in working hours to meet the needs of the business. This includes all hours of the day and any day of the week. Hermes Worldwide is open 24/7.
