Job description

We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the organization, managing staff and resources, and ensuring that all operations are running smoothly and efficiently. The Operations Manager will also be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to improve operational efficiency, as well as ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Train All New Drivers
• Use Daily Checklist and Responsibilities Checklist – NO DEVIATIONS!
• Review and Confirm all Drivers are completing all necessary paperwork properly including, Run Sheets, Pre/Post Trips, Weekly Fluid Checks
• Truck Maintenance Issues – Report to Maintenance Supervisor – Recap in Evening update Email
• Confirm drivers are completing their jobs 100%, Including, emptying sheds, taking all garbage, noting damage on sheds
• Manage Runs and run efficiency ; 10 hour runs with maximum bag collections
• Manage Driver related issues and concerns – Report to Manager as needed
• Driver Annual Reviews
• Backup Driver – Fill in if driver calls in sick or schedules vacation, new runs
• Support unloading when time permits
• Other tasks as required
• Develop and implement operational plans and procedures.
• Manage the day-to-day operations of the organization.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Monitor performance against operational goals and objectives.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
• Lead and motivate staff to ensure optimal performance.
• Identify areas of improvement in operational processes.
• Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
