Title: Operations Dispatch Coordinator

Location: Katy, TX

Reports to: Operations Supervisor


Role Overview:

Off Duty Services, Inc. (ODS), A Protos Company, is a nationwide security services provider and has an immediate need to fill a position of a Operations Dispatch Coordinator. ODS has been in business for 20 years and offers a wide variety of services, including security guards, off duty police, remote monitoring and more.


Responsibilities:

  • Work schedule: (On Site)
  • Tuesday – Saturday 3:00pm to 12:00am, 1 hour lunch
  • Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
  • Address incoming online, email and phone requests and inquiries.
  • Collect required and optional data, with an emphasis on accuracy and completeness of the information
  • Manage, update and edit proprietary scheduling software for customer requests and officer information.
  • Resolve applicable officer, customer, and internal inquiries per defined processes and guidelines while overcoming certain obstacles within the conversation.
  • Assist with setting proper expectations with internal and external customers about their request(s) or issue(s) that need to be resolved.
  • Be comfortable over the phone talking with customers while multi-tasking within multiple systems to collect accurate data and information.
  • Use multiple systems and online tools to complete tasks.
  • Work with officers, coordinators and law enforcement agency contacts relating to officer issues or complaints.
  • Manage multiple logistic tasks/ accounts simultaneously.
  • Manage relationships with customers, law enforcement personnel and subcontractors.
  • Written communication of assignment details to ODS contacts and the customer.
  • Positively team with Operations Schedulers and other Departments.
  • Must demonstrate excellent customer service skills, both written and verbal.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
  • Must be available for on-call 3-4 nights a month & 5-6 weekends a year (based on a rotating schedule).


Required Skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Effectively manage large amounts of incoming calls and emails.
  • Continued communication with customers to provide status updates.
  • Provide accurate, valid and complete information to internal and external personnel.
  • Advanced knowledge of basic office applications and ability to learn new proprietary software.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent prioritization, time management, and strong collaborative and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple assignments and deadlines at the same time.
  • Adaptable to shifts in priorities and urgencies.
  • More than two years in a service-focused role.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.

  • $19.20 per hour
