YOUR ROLE

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
- Verify incoming, in-process and outgoing product with customer requirements.
- Validate parts and materials to blueprint and all required specifications by utilizing approved meteorology methods and maintain calibration standards. Record inspection results and maintain accurate record filing systems.
- Perform stock purges on nonconforming product as identified and directed by the customer. Manage discrepant material (return, sort, rework, scrap, provisional release) as directed by the customer.
- Assist on-site customer and government quality assurance representatives.
- Assist in improving the EQS-Quality systems supporting ISO and OHSA standards and identify and assist in preventive action, process improvement and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain quality performance data supporting QA Metrics tracking and performance improvement.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED; Associate's Degree, preferred. Minimum two years related experience. Knowledgeable of ISO 9000 Quality Standards, inventory management systems, validation of parts and materials to blueprint specifications and measurement and calibration process inspections.
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet, web-based and job specific software applications. Exposure to statistical and weld inspection/validation.
- Characteristics: Ability to understand, maintain and support quality standards and procedures. Ability to promote the company Environment Quality, Safety and Corporate Sustainability policies.
