Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as an advocate for our network of carriers.
- Form and maintain long lasting relationships with new as well as existing carriers
- Leverage relationships across Ready Logistics internal and external partners to provide support and grow partnerships with existing contracted carriers
- Responsible for remediating issues and addressing all escalations in a timely and effective manner
- Advocate continuous improvement and provide feedback and input into processes and systems enhancements to optimize workflows and introduce efficiency
- Work closely with carriers, drivers, BPO partners, and team members to deliver on client SLA
- Assistance and resolution for operations/process escalations regarding contracted carriers
- Prepare, analyze, and present operational metrics and reporting for business reviews, operational performance reviews, and ‘state of the business’ discussions
- Generate Salesforce cases to track carrier issues or challenges.
- Leverage tools, dashboards, and reports to create an exceptions-based approach to remediating out-of-compliance inventory and follow through to resolution
- Carrier performance reviews with contracted carriers: weekly, Bi-weekly and monthly based on multiple KPI performance targets.
- Serve as the ‘Go To’ subject matter expert for your area of responsibility and book of business
- Provide the overall business/organization support in insuring we have sufficient carrier resources to support all lanes of business.
- Help identify potential carriers for new business brought by Client Success
- Work with new carriers or zero move carriers to understand their capabilities and areas of interest
- Report out to appropriate regions updates on new carriers to support their needs
- Carrier assistance with program level concerns: volume, rates, terms of the contract etc.
- Assists with special projects as assigned.
- Learns and complies with Logistics standards and policies
- Prioritizing daily tasks and completing tasks in an accurate and effective manner.
- Uses problem-solving skills to resolve carrier issues
- Fields inbound calls and emails
- Other job responsibilities as needed.
- Good judgment, discretion, tact and the ability to work easily at all levels within the organization
Qualifications :
- High School Diploma/GED and 5 years’ experience in a related field.
- OR the right candidate could also have a different combination, such as any level degree/certification beyond a HS diploma/GED in a related discipline and 3 years’ experience;
- OR 7 years’ experience in a related field

- Strong organizational skills and demonstrated capacity to develop and implement practical strategies, plans, and solutions to identified issues and problems.
- Track record of taking initiative in managing multiple priorities and working effectively under pressure when facing extremely short deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Good judgment, discretion, tact and the ability to work easily at all levels within the organization.
- Ability to partner well with colleagues in a matrixed work environment.
- Ability to work independently and to undertake responsibilities with minimal guidance.
- Adapting approach and comfortable with ambiguity.
- Must be adept at handling complex situations and businesses.
Administration:
- Possesses excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse carriers and teams with diverse personalities, during high pressure scenarios, within extremely tight deadlines
- Work effectively on multiple assignments, activities, and projects
- Develop and maintain key processes established by the business
- Ensure timely and effective problem resolution
- Maintain monthly scorecard and establish consistent cadence with carrier performance reviews
- Must have strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Salesforce experience a plus
