CIS International is a Livestock Breeder, Wholesale Importer & Distributor of Fresh & Salt Water Live Tropical Fish, Aquatic Wood, Aquatic Plants, Live Rock & any many ornamental fish accessories. We have been in business since 1991 were we started off as a small company supplying local vendors in Jacksonville, Florida but now have growth to supply both local vendor and national wide retail pet stores.

Major Job Responsibilities

1. Review and make analysis from the labor report from the previous day – review hour discrepancies and come up with solutions to avoid any future issue. The following reports are to be reviewed:

  • Daily Labor and Production Summary
  • US-CIS Actual Hours vs Budgeted Hours Report
  • Total on Man Hours Lost and cost due Excess of Bagging
  • Box Utilization by Station per Breakdown

2. Human Resources Key Functions

  • Ensure Employee benefits Enrollment.
  • Performance Review Analysis
  • Works Compensation Review
  • Employee Talent Acquisition
  • Employee Engagement Programs

3. Review and make analysis from the live Inventory report, especially on the DOH and unusual high stocks received and give solutions to correct any issue that is out control regarding DOH and High stock received. The following reports are to be reviewed:

  • Incoming Shipment – Invoices/Packing List (TLST – SLCS)
  • US-CIS Final Order Work Sheet for SLCS
  • Daily DOH Report
  • Critical Measurement Report
  • Daily DOA/DNR Summary Report

4. Review and make analysis on current day’s production. Discuss and make the necessary changes based on the information gathered along with the WHMGT. Reports to review:

  • Packer Fish Breakdown (form current day)
  • Hourly Production Progress Report

5. Review Sales vs Labor report. Discuss any unusual issue on a meeting with the WHMGT in order to meet the goal and achieve the company’s policies. Reports to review:

  • Sales Vs Labor Report
  • Daily OT reconciliation Report
  • US-CIS Exemption Report (As a secondary reviewer)

d. Daily Labor and Production Summary

6. Review and plan for actual/incoming in-house projects. Reviewing and analyzing the following process and Reports to complete:

  • Plan/get estimates
  • Work on “New Equipment List Report”
  • Work on “Projected Costing Form”
  • Check vendors – and finalize labor cost and time
  • Get CEO approvals
  • Execute.

7. Review and make analysis on the shipment Planner and make all the necessary moves and reviews online (AWB #’s, Airline, etc.) as well as with the broker and make sure that he has all the current and updated information. Also check and review with Order Entry that all the information provided is accurate. Reports and information to review:

a. Shipment Planner (updated)

b. Incoming shipment documents and information (AWB, Invoice, Packing List, Permits, Arrival time to be checked with Broker and online, # of boxes, airline fare, driver availability, etc.

8. Daily Review with the management staff about OPR’s, PMS’s, W/F’s, Checklists, Productivity Reports, Skill Chart, etc. and get them updates.

9. Plan and Work in trainings for the staff such as E-mailing, Labor Planning, PMS’s, W/F’s, DOH, Critical measurements, etc. And update them on ETF.

  • Training Calendar on ETF
  • Upload Training achievements – Documented on ETF
  • Update Skill chart

10. Coordinate and meet with Production Management in order to cover shortcomings and other issues regarding next day’s production. Execute and have daily production meetings with the US Admin Coordinator and Sr. Supervisor and weekly with Production Manager from SL.

11. Coordinate and meet with the BOAT team regarding any changes and updates with Labor and projects (PMS and W/F) and OPR’s.

  • W/F updates and changes
  • Create new W/F
  • Review and update OPR’s and load them to the network

12. Coordinate and meet with the IT department for any changes and updates with ETF system, local networking and other IT issues. Also review and update (run tests) in order to deploy and develop new IT strategies that will help to improve our production at the WH.

a. Review new developed programs or activate new features on ETF.

13. Have communication with HR dept in order to make sure all the new policies and company rules are put to work and documented on Memo’s. Review all the Memo drafts and correct them after being implemented to the WH staff.

14. Coordinate and meet with Order Entry/Marketing and vendors to get updates any make planning for future promos as well as gathering all the information regarding all regular shipments and review all the documentation, arrival times, and quantities to received for WH allocation and holding issues.

15. Coordinate and meet with Inventory Dry dept/Logistics in order to discuss all related to local vendor deliveries, Dry Goods Inventory, Shipment arrivals, shipment outgoings, adjustments on ETF, etc. Have meeting with US Inventory coordinator in order to get accurate inventory.

  • Open COD PO report
  • US-CIS Inventory items that has reached the ROL
  • Dry Good reconciliation report
  • Discrepancy report
  • Monthly Dry good Prepping Calendar

16. Coordinate and have meetings with Sr. Biologist and all the Quality assurance staff in order to control the DOH, control high densities, and give solutions to minimize DOA percentage to the stores.

  • Daily DOH report (ETF)
  • Update Medication, Feeding, Critical Measurement’s OPR’s, etc.

17. Maintain close contact with local vendors for any situation that might need prompt assistance such as: All seas Marine, SDC, Golden Ina, etc.

18. Maintain close communication with local currier such as: UPS, FedEx, etc.

19. Keep control about the investments (business) that will help the company to minimize the current expenses and getting better service and better prices.

20. Have Monthly meetings and discuss relevant points that are affecting or helping the production. Remark achievements and meet the goal required for the customer.

21. Look for ideas and implement them in order to get benefit on the company’s profit

22. Update Policies and Rules for the WH staff – HR skills to be required

  • Review Employee handbook.
  • Employee performance evaluations

23. Review the labor schedule and make all the changes (if applicable) that are required as per the labor planning. Report to review:

  • Schedule (current)

24. Have and Schedule meetings with all the HOD (if applicable)

25. Develop new planning strategies in order to minimize and control Labor hours, OT, and staff allocation… Meet and update actual benchmarks. Reports to review:

  • Daily productivity Report
  • Sign Out Sheet
  • Exemption Report
  • Daily Production Planning

26. Have and review topics as per agenda given for the week in order to review all the production failures for the current week and planning ahead discussions for incoming projects. Review personnel achievements and better management strategies.

27. Delegate, Job assignments, and execution overview with Supervisors.

28. Develop better procedures to maximize Production.

29. Problem solver – implement solutions to the day-to-day labor and production problems.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
