As an Office Space Planner, you'll have the opportunity to use your education and experience to take on interesting challenges and become an integral part of our team as we build new or redesign current state of the art engineering facilities. At Lockheed Martin Space, you'll use innovative approaches that will help facilitate our ability to achieve mission success. In this role, you will work on projects that will vary from very simple with low complexity moves to developing complex strategies to support program growth.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education. Entry level.
  • Ability to compile, prepare, and present information to management and communicate and work effectively across multiple disciplines
  • Demonstrated ability to take a project from conceptualization and organize, plan and manage it to successful completion
  • Ability to foster positive working relationships and make sound risk based decisions
  • US Citizenship with the ability to obtain/maintain a Secret security clearance
Desired Skills:
  • Proficient with CAD Software to create 2D and 3D software.
  • Experience in project management including but not limited to budget planning, cost analysis, schedule development, and risk and opportunity management
  • Strong sense of follow-up and closure with strict attention to detail, quality, and whole system thinking
  • Must be able to work independently and in a team environment
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) to prepare reports, graphs, and visual presentation aids, perform measurements, and interpret data

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
