Job description
This position manages marketing, recruitment, retention, and engagement activities within the School of Finance. This position also assists with marketing and promotion efforts for the college study abroad programs and external research outreach initiatives. Additionally, this position provides administrative support to the Director in the School of Finance. \
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Work with the School Director to distribute information to current and prospective students using tools such as student newsletters, social media, and other forms of digital communication.
- Assist with recruitment and events for college study abroad programs to increase student participation and engagement with global business markets. Contribute to college research marketing and promotion activities.
- Manage School of Finance calls, emails, and mail distribution. Maintain School of Finance budgets and spending requests. Enter course schedules and textbook orders and perform course prerequisite checks. Assist with annual property audits. Manage Graduate Assistant work schedule and assignments.
- Support School of Finance recruitment and retention efforts. Develop and execute plans for increasing student engagement and establishing an active alumni networking tool.
- Create and maintain website and social media accounts for the Center for Financial Services. Assist the center director with marketing of center activities. Create marketing materials and execute marketing strategy for the MSED degree and certificate program.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Excellent communication skills
- Familiarity with relevant technology, software, applications - including Microsoft office suite (especially Excel) and 360 tools.
- Proficiency with office management technology, software , and applications.
- Effective written communications skills, including the ability to write routine reports.
- Proficiency with basic graphic design software such as Canva.
- Effective interpersonal and organizational skills, and a willingness to take initiative and be a create problem-solver.

- Database management software, such as PeopleSoft, Ad Astra, and FacultyEnlight
- Social media marketing, especially managing social media accounts
- Advanced graphic communication software, such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
