Pool and Spa Depot, is interviewing candidates for the position of
Office Assistant to work in our Construction Department at our LaVergne, TN headquarters.
The Construction Office Assistant will be able to perform various administrative tasks and work diligently under pressure ensuring the Construction Department operates efficiently.
Responsibilities Include, but not limited to:

Responsibilities Include, but not limited to:
- Maintain an organized office
- Answers phone calls, takes messages and provide general information to customers
- Maintain customer communication in all aspects of the building process.
- Coordinate equipment rental and purchases
- Sort and distribute communications in a timely manner
- Create and update records and communications
- Assist customers in obtaining building permits
- Submission and tracking of permits to various municipalities.
- Assist in scheduling appointments, meetings or site visits.
- Routine errands as needed
- Assist with vendor set up
- Support all administrative functions of the Construction Department.
- Other duties as designated by management team.
Qualifications:
- Adherence to laws and best practices in regards to dealing with customers and data
- Ability to maintain calendars and schedule appointments
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office and Google Suite
- Demonstrated customer service experience
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Must be able to multi task
- High degree of attention to detail and trustworthiness
- Open availability and excellent time management skills are a must in this role
- Willingness to work overtime as needed
- Familiarity with construction processes and terminology
