Job description

We are looking for a full time Occupational Therapy Assistant, Tuesday thru Saturday, in our Physical Therapy unit.

An Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) works under the direction of an Occupational Therapist to help solve physical challenges that patients have with daily activities. Their duties include helping to assess patients' physical abilitites during day-to-day tasks, implementing the prescribed treatment plan developed by an Occupational Therapist, and providing additional training and education to patients and the community in which they work.

OTA works under the direction of an occupational therapist and administer therapy treatments and procedures to help patients recover, develop, or improve skills needed for daily living and working. To be successful as an OTA you should be compassionate and enjoy working with people. An excellent occupational therapy assistant should maintain a positive attitude and be able to provide the highest degree of quality care to patients.
