Come join or team! Our large private practice in the San Gabriel Valley, is seeking an experienced and motivated Nurse Practitioner to join our growing team at our Covina location. With over 20 cardiologists and 11 NPs on staff, we are dedicated to providing the highest quality of care to our patients. Our services include programs in structural heart disease, coronary and peripheral interventions, electrophysiology, cardiac imaging, and general cardiology, as well as research, advanced heart failure, and venous disease.

About the Nurse Practitioner Role:

• As a Cardiology Nurse Practitioner, you will have the opportunity to rotate through clinical settings in the hospital, office, and noninvasive lab.
• This position offers a comprehensive breadth of experience and knowledge in all subspecialties of cardiology, and you will have a true collaborative practice with our team of highly skilled cardiologists.
• We have well-established standardized procedures and job descriptions in place, ensuring that you have the support and resources you need to succeed.
• Collaborate with the cardiology team to provide exceptional patient care

Responsibilities for our Nurse Practitioner position:

• Conduct patient assessments, diagnose and treat patients, and manage chronic conditions
• Prescribe medications and perform non-invasive procedures as needed
• Document patient care and maintain accurate medical records
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in cardiology and continually seek to improve patient outcomes

The ideal Nurse Practitioner candidate will have:

• Board-certified NP with a graduate degree from an accredited NP school
• Past experience in ICU/ER/step-down or cardiology as an RN or NP (preferred but not required)
• Current ACLS, BLS, RN, and NP licenses
• Strong self-directed learner with a passion for continuing education and professional development
