Norton Childrens Hospital - RN Cath Lab - Louisville, KY - (12/25/2022 - 03/25/2022)
Shift is 7:30a-4:00p with potential for call (to be discussed in interview).
Prefer someone with peds cath lab experience but would consider a strong PEDS CICU RN.
BLS, ACLS and PALS required
Pay Rate : $86/hr
This is a Pediatric hospital with 2 cath labs. The cath lab performs state of the art interventional procedures on all ages of children with congenital heart defects. We also care for ACHD patients.
Top 10 Diagnosis/Procedures: HLHS/ Stent to PDA/ combined cardiac cath and OR procedures in hybrid suite/pda closure/asd closure/ stent to Pulmonary arteries and veins/electrophysiology studies for AVNRT/WPW/Afib/Vtach/Pacemaker implants/ICD implants
Common Medications used on the unit? Isopurel, heparin, bupiviane, any meds you would use in possible code readiness
EPIC charting
candidate must be competent with IV insertion, a-line management, CVP, obtaining 12 Lead EKGs, sheath removal, cardioversions epicardial pacer management.
BLS, ACLS and PALS required
