The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. Position Summary

The Department of Surgery is looking for Short Term Casual (Non-Student). Incumbent will perform multiple assignments under direct supervision.

Responsibilities

Individual will prepare check request

Handle human specimens

Order and maintain laboratory supplies.

Review study budgets

Record data related to task or studies.

Compile documentation required to issue checks and perform other related duties as necessary to the functioning of the laboratory.

Minimum Qualifications

High School graduate or equivalency certificate, technical training or equivalency, and some related laboratory experience, usually six months.

Other Requirements

Familiarity with clinical trial workflow and general medical terminology

Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously with accuracy

Excellent attention to detail and proactive follow-through of assigned projects

Thorough knowledge of MS Excel

Ability to keep records in an orderly fashion

Ability understand and adhere to compliance policies

Ability to respectfully and effectively communicate with patients, staff, and faculty.
