Job description
Position Summary:Under supervision by licensed neuropsychologist, participates in the administration and delivery of neuropsychological assessment, and the scoring, assessment, and interpretation of the neuropsychological data. Completed written behavioral observations of patients assessed. Enters clinical data into clinical databases. Manages test equipment and protocols. Provides supervision and training to graduate level practicum students.
Patient Care:
The neuropsychometrist will administer neuropsychological tests assessing different cognitive domains to patients under the direct supervision of the licensed neuropsychologist.
Supervision Received In accordance with Maryland State Law, the Neuropsychometrist will be registered with the Board of Psychology Examiners as Psychology Associates, and receive supervision commensurate with their level of expertise based upon the Board of Psychology Examiners.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Seasoned professional knowledge; equivalent to a Master's degree; knowledge in more than one discipline.
Experience: 1-3 years
Education Discipline: Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology must be completed. Coursework in psychological assessment required. Coursework in neuropsychological assessment desired.
Registered as a Psychology Associate with the Maryland State Board of Psychology
