The Network Engineer ensures proper design, implementation, support and administration of Milk Specialties Global’s (MSG) environment. Areas of support includes: WAN, LAN, VPN, SDWan, Wireless, Manufacturing Networks, and Security Systems. The Network Engineer also provides the vision and strategy necessary to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, availability and security of MSG’s environment.
Essential Function:

• Manage and perform administration of all network, security, and associated equipment (routers, switches, firewalls, etc.). This includes ensuring proper backups are complete, making recommendations for upgrades and changes as required to support overall business objectives.
• Leads creation of standards for new technology.
• Guides, directs, or recommends enhancements for system performance, reliability, scalability, and capacity.
• Develop and provides solutions targeted to meet existing, enhanced, and new service network/security platform solutions for business and infrastructure services.
• Provides senior technical leadership, representing network designs and support requirement for MSG.
• Troubleshoots, resolves, and recommends improvement for systems, network, and security problems at an advanced level across MSG's environment.
• Authors and provides input for systems and services, documentation, procedures, and processes.
• Develops and performs capacity and resource planning to optimize and expand existing network systems.
• Expand Network monitoring across MSG entire environment
• Enhance MSG’ Firewall design and security
• Work with vendors and support teams on new and existing technologies to develop relationships and expand environment capabilities and services.
• Make plant visits as required to provide on-site support installations as needed.
• Assist with daily Helpdesk issues as required.
• Qualified and trained individual will provide as a back-up in the event of an absence of another employees.
• Join on-call rotation shared by other members of the IT team
• Perform special projects and other responsibilities as needed.

Position Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related area
• 5+ years of previous Network Administration experience in a multi-facility organization.

• 3+ years of Network Security Administration

• Excellent analytical and organizational skills

• Strong interpersonal and communication skill

• 5 -7 years working with Aruba/HP network infrastructure preferred

• 5 years designing, deploying and managing Aruba Networks/WIFI preferred

• 3 year implement and or supporting IPS/IDS systems preferred

• CCNA certification or equivalent experience preferred

• CISSP certification or equivalent experience preferred
