IT Systems Administrator/Network Administrator

Malone IT Group is looking for a qualified IT technician/administrator/engineer. This person will join the Malone IT Group service team and provide IT services and support for all client environments.

Malone IT Group is a boutique Managed Service Provider (MSP), providing IT consulting and managed services for small to medium businesses in the West Michigan area. We provide a high level of service to our clients and expect the same from every member of our team. The following are 3 important considerations:

Technical ability: Most of our clients are running Microsoft Server networks utilizing Microsoft Hyper-V and Microsoft 365. A qualified candidate will be ready to support these, as well as anything else found in a small to medium business network. The ideal candidate will have experience with the following: Windows Server, Azure AD, Active Directory, GPOs, virtualization, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Veeam, Fortinet, FortiGate, UniFi, firewalls, routing, and wireless.

Personality: Malone IT Group is a customer service driven business. This position will work directly with our clients and their teams on a daily basis. We are looking for an individual that will be passionate about the customer service relationship with our clients. Even though this is a technical position, it is also very much human-centric. Our client’s success is our success.

Job expectations include:

• 2+ years of experience
• Provide an expert-level, high-quality support experience for all
• Has demonstrable experience with servers, virtualization, and network & firewall install & configuration
• Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Azure
• Previous experience designing, architecting and supporting environments of this type
• Self-motivated with attention to detail.
• Excellent communications skills (verbal and written)
• Must present well to clients, at all levels of a company
• Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving ability.
• Strong interpersonal skills to assist non-technical individuals with complex technical issues
• High level of organizational and time management skills.

This job is a full-time salaried position with PTO, Health Insurance, Dental Insurance, and an employer retirement matching contribution plan. Salary: $45k-60k.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
