Apogee is actively seeking a full-time Technical Lead supporting US Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM) NC3 Enterprise Center (NEC) Systems Engineering and Integration (SE&I) at Ft. Meade, MD.

What you will be doing:

  • Supervising, leading, and coaching Apogee personnel assigned to the team, including managing technical efforts and assisting in directing task order performance

  • Managing systems engineering and mission engineering analysis studies to guide decisions focused on the end-to-end NC3 mission and identify new/enhanced capabilities for use in the NC3 system-of-systems
  • Ensuring technical/financial solutions and schedules in the specific delivery orders are implemented in a timely manner
  • Organizing, directing, and coordinating the planning and production of all activities associated with assigned projects
  • Ensuring quality products, including engineering analysis reports and services are delivered on time and in accordance with Apogee quality assurance methodologies
  • Assisting the Government in developing and maintaining the currency of Integrated Capability Schedules (ICS) and Plan of Actions and Milestones (POA&M) for the specific NC3/NLCC end-to-end capabilities (i.e., program of record, JCTD studies)
  • Collaborating with customer points of contact and Apogee leadership to proactively identify and mitigate risks and/or issues
  • Coordinating and facilitating team inputs for regular task order status reporting and special deliverables to advance high-priority Government initiatives

  • Assisting in Apogee hiring, recruiting, onboarding/orientation, and retention initiatives

  • Ensuring staff are qualified and cleared to meet customer performance requirements
  • Coordinating contractor travel and other direct costs with the Government

  • Monitoring one-time and periodic contractor training requirements and other compliance issues established in the task order and Apogee policy

What you will need:

  • Security Clearance Required – TS/SCI Eligibility
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Engineering, Engineering Management, Information Systems, Computer Science, or similar managerial or technical field, with 10 years’ relevant Program/Project Management experience and at least 2 years’ experience supporting Information Technology (IT) projects
  • Ability to work well within a team and to execute tasks independently
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills
  • Strong command of MS Office suite tools, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • NC3 experience (desired)

Benefits:

Regular part time employees scheduled for twenty-four or more hours per work week are eligible for benefits on a pro-rated basis.
  • This position is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus.
