A flexible, caring family is looking to hire a loving, intelligent Nanny to join their home in beautiful, up-state Skaneateles, NY - GREAT BENEFITS!!

The Ideal Candidate: This family is looking for a friendly, personable, flexible, and kind Nanny to provide loving care to their two fun, energetic boys, ages 1 and 3.5 years old, and to help with household duties. The Nanny's primary responsibility will be for the baby, while the toddler is in day camp for 6 weeks during the summer (9 am-12 pm - 3 days/week) and then in PreK beginning in September, also 9 am-12 pm, 3 days/week. During the afternoon and days when the toddler is not in camp/school, you will be responsible for both children. The Nanny will also be responsible for general household duties which will include light housekeeping, laundry, grocery shopping (typically just a pick order from online), occasional errands for the family as necessary, and feeding the kids lunch and light snacks during the day. No meal prep or cooking will be required. Dad works out of the home most of the time and Mom is not currently working but plans to go back beginning in September so the Nanny must be comfortable having Mom in the home regularly when she's not working.

What Works Best for the Family: The ideal candidate will be positive with a happy, warm, and friendly demeanor. Someone who has a cooperative attitude and is comfortable having a parent in the home on a regular basis, at least to start. Dad described their toddler as being very intelligent and cerebral, who loves to learn new things, so someone who can engage and communicate well with him works best! Their 1-year-old baby is very easy-going and relaxed. Both boys can also be pretty active when they want to be so someone who can meet their activity and high energy level is a great match. An excellent communicator who is easy-going, with a low-stress personality is key. Someone who is flexible & adaptable, and who wants to be with a wonderful, caring, accommodating family in return will thrive in this role for years to come.

Position Responsibilities:

• Errands: Occasional Grocery Pick-up and Errands Required
• Driving: Own Car
• Travel: Some Travel as needed (family has a home in Naples, FL)

Position Requirements:

• Work Hours: 40 hours/week; M-F, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM or M-TH, 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM - Days/Hours are flexible for the right candidate.
• Languages: English
• Experience: 02 Years of Experience
• References: Minimum of 2 References
• Background: Pass stringent background checks and drug testing upon offer of hire
• Personality Traits: Intelligent, friendly, honest, responsible, caring, cooperative, active, energetic, and fun. A great communicator, with a positive, easy-going personality.

Position Compensation:

• Salary: DOE
• Living Accommodations: Live Out; Open to a Live-In/Live-Out combination (i.e. Live-In M-Th, Live-Out F-Sun) for the right candidate and based on the candidate's need.
• Vacation: 4 weeks
