Tucker Concrete, LP is looking for Skilled CDL drivers to operate our Volumetric Concrete Mixers. These specialized mix on-site mobile batch units are quickly gaining popularity and we are seeking operators who will thrive in a fast-paced environment with opportunities for growth and independence. No previous concrete experience is required, our team of trainers will strive to provide you with the expertise and knowledge necessary to operate the machines safely and confidently. The ideal candidate will thrive in over-coming challenges and using their unique skillset to respond to a variety of job-site conditions. Home nights and weekends, good pay and opportunities to control your own advancement.
Required Skills:
- CDL Class B or higher. All vehicles are automatic transmission.
- High School diploma/GED
- Good driving record
Preferred Skills:
- Effective communicator
- Ability to perform under pressure
- Ability to work independently
Job Duties:
- Operators load raw materials into the trucks using a front end loader
- Safely navigate to project sites
- Batch concrete in accordance with job specifications and customer needs
- Report information to dispatch
- Collect Money from customers
- Wash out equipment and safely return to yard
- Start times each day vary between 3:00 and 7:00 am depending on workload
- Average days range between 10-14 hours.
