Millwright

Quaker City Castings, a steel, iron, and nickel alloy foundry located in Salem, Ohio, is seeking maintenance workers for our first shift foundry operations.

Job Qualifications: Should have 2+ years of heavy industrial maintenance experience, preferably in a foundry environment. Experience with electrical and fabrication highly desired.

Job Skills: Must possess a strong "hands on" attitude and aptitude with working knowledge of industrial machines and equipment, fabrication, minor electrical systems and planned maintenance with an ability to diagnose, troubleshoot and repair with little to no supervision.

Work Ethic: Willingness to openly and freely share ones knowledge and experience with fellow maintenance personnel (team player). Meet all requirements for documentation, reporting and logging of maintenance activities as directed by supervisor, lead man or departmental procedure(s). Possess good housekeeping habits in all areas of jobs assignments and to mark/label/document/store disassembled parts in proper location(s) during a long term maintenance project. Fully aware and committed to apply and uphold company and departmental guidelines for "LOCK-OUT / TAG OUT", Arc Flash, forklift, man-lift, bridge-jib crane use and safety practices, and other maintenance procedures. Must stay focused and time line conscious of assigned job(s) and a self starter that requires minimal supervision. Be on time each day, as scheduled, and maintain communications with supervisor or lead person for each assignment throughout the day.

Compensation: Commensurate with the level and type of experience presented, but range will likely be $15-$17 per hour. Quaker City Castings offers paid time off, 401(k) contributions, health coverage, dental coverage.
