Posting: FT - Therapist (FBMH) ($21.68hr - $26.79) (Hybrid work and Flexible Schedule)

Location: Bethlehem

Do you have these qualifications?

  • A master's degree in a human services discipline or enrollment in a graduate human service program in which graduation will occur no later than two years from hire is required.
  • An additional two years of CASSI experience is necessary with a master's degree for Therapists in the Children's Behavioral Health Component.
  • Never have been convicted of any prohibited criminal or child abuse offense.

Family Based Mental Health Therapist Overview:

  • The FB Mental Health Therapist will successfully engage and maintain youth and families through the treatment process.
  • They will provide effective individual, parent, family group counseling services to clients in office, client homes, schools and other settings as appropriate within the context of outreach services and according to treatment plans.
  • The FB Mental Health Therapist will implement services in cooperation with the youth's case manager, meeting at least one time per week to coordinate services.
  • They will review services on a monthly basis and document the effectiveness of services in the plan and the client's continuing need for service
  • They will provide regular ongoing case coordination and collateral contact with other community agencies also involved in individual cases.
  • The FB Mental Health Therapist will represent the program in treatment conferences with other agencies in a professional manner.
  • The FB Mental Health Therapist will provide quality representation of services with an individual family in court when subpoenaed.
  • They will provide crisis response to families in need, including providing program on-call responsibilities which includes responding by phone within 15 minutes of the contact and going to the family home or community site if the situation cannot be resolved by phone.
