For over 50 years, New Horizons Mental Health Services has worked to improve the health and wellbeing of individuals, families, and the community through our services.

We are currently seeking Mental Health Therapists for full-time positions at the STARlight Center, a new Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU) opening in Lancaster, Ohio!

The STARlight center will be the first CSU in Fairfield County, offering voluntary stabilization, treatment, and recovery services 24/7 for individuals who need immediate or urgent mental health or substance abuse assistance.

What will you do?

Overall responsibilities for this position include:

• Provide emergency crisis stabilization screening, planning, and implementation services
• Providing psychotherapy to individuals staying at the CSU
• Provide consultation and assistance to emergency services

What kind of qualifications do you need?

Do you have at minimum a Bachelor's Degree (even better if you have a Master’s) in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field, as well as licensure, such as LSW, LISW, LPC, or LPCC? What about the ability to stay calm in high-stress situations, and experience providing clinical services in emergency or crisis environments? Then this position is for you!
