Job description

Our mental health practice is in need of an experienced Psychologist to oversee several therapists. Candidates should also have experience counseling clients and developing effective treatment plans. Successful applicants should have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and be comfortable supervising pre-licensed/post graduate clinicians.

The position responsibilities include:

• Diagnose psychological, behavioral and emotional disorders in accordance with diagnostic criteria and develop treatment plans accordingly
• Provide therapy to individuals and couples using various evidence-based modalities
• Supervise pre licensed/ post graduate clinicians progress through regular meetings, review of progress notes, and intakes
• Maintain an open line of communication with Head Psychologist and therapists
• Conduct training classes and continuing education
• Testing experience preferred

Candidate must have a degree in clinical or counseling psychology (or equivalent), at least two years of supervisory experience in a mental health setting, and must be a licensed psychologist in DC.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $120,000.00 per year
