Sumter Grove Senior Living is an assisted living community that offers an array of services to our residents including assistance with activities of daily living and medication management. Sumter Grove Senior Living is seeking a Full Time Medication Technicians. It is preferred that Medication Technicians have a High School diploma or equivalency. It is also desired for the Medication Technician to have previous experience working in assisted living, hospital, skilled nursing care facility or other related facility.

Medication Technicians at Sumter Grove Senior Living work three 12-hour shifts from 7:00 - 7:00 and one 6-hour shift from 7:00-1:00 or 1:00-7:00. Day and night shifts available.

Job description

Medication Technicians provide routine care to residents that includes medication administration and assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and meal delivery. Medication Technicians provide care in a manner conducive to the comfort and safety of residents in accordance with federal, state and local regulations and within the established policies and procedures of the Community; and are delegated the responsibility for carrying out the assigned duties by the, Health and Wellness Director and/or the Executive Director or other assigned supervisory personnel to assure that the highest degree of quality resident care can be maintained at all times.
