We have a fantastic opportunity for a Medical Records Coder to join our team. Job Summary:
The Medical Records Coder is responsible for coding and charging Outpatient Ancillary Accounts in accordance with the American Hospital Association coding guidelines by identifying all documented conditions that coexist at the time of the encounter/visit. The Clinical Data Analyst is responsible for performing a variety of clerical functions which include but are not limited registration, insurance verification, money collection cashiering, legal documentation to insure the efficient operation of the various departments within the Patient Access Department.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma/GED
• Certified Coding Specialist/Certified Professional Coder license required
• Prior coding experience of 1-2 years
• 1-3 business office experience in a hospital or medical office
• Excellent Customer Service Skills
• Excellent Problem Solving ability
• Bilingual Spanish a plus
