Job description

This is a position working in a medical office facility in Port Huron, MI Handling requests for Medical Records.

Monday Thru Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm

Job Requirements:

COVID-19 AND FLU VACCINES REQUIRED

Previous Release of Information (ROI) or medical office experience - preferred

High school graduate – required

Knowledge of medical terminology – preferred

Knowledge of HIPAA - preferred.

Display a courteous and professional manner through interaction, appearance, attitude, and with written and oral communication among co-workers and the public.

Ability to work efficiently in a fast paced, unpredictable (at times) environment.

Strong organizational skills.

Effective time management skills with multi-tasking abilities.

Meticulous attention to detail.

Proficient data entry skills.

Answer all routine customer inquiries in an efficient and effective manner.

Provide excellent customer service with: demonstrated compassion, ability to assess situations & identify concerns and give timely follow up.

Ability to protect and maintain the confidentiality of patient’s medical records and patient information.

Handle patient information with discretion and integrity

Ability to use all components of a computer extensively, with the ability to toggle between systems efficiently.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
