Interventional Radiology office is seeking an experienced, highly energetic with limitless positive attitude, working office manager for a specialty practice in Melbourne, FL.

  • We need someone who can help us grow with the practice to the next level.
  • The practice manager is responsible for the efficient daily operations of the practice, and work closely with the doctor developing business strategies and dealing with daily operations.
  • This professional is in charge of making sure the practice is running efficiently and successfully.

Responsibilities Include:

Working Manager: Responsible for front desk duties and should be cross trained with all areas of patient care, Including Billing RCM.

Managing staff: You will be responsible for managing the medical office staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, payrolls, review and approval of employee’s timecards and performance evaluation.

Patient care: Coordinate with other team members so that patients receive quality care, and that their medical needs are met in a timely and efficient manner.

Managing patient records and billing: You will be responsible for managing patient records and billing, including ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.

Regulatory compliance: You will ensure that the office complies with all regulatory requirements and are adhered to at all times by regularly reviewing office policies.

Inventory management and material utilization: You will oversee the inventory and supplies for the office, ensuring that they are properly managed and that the office has the necessary supplies to provide quality care to patients.

Patient complaints or concerns: You will handle patient complaints and concerns, ensuring that they are addressed in a timely and appropriate manner.

Developing and implementing office policies and procedures: You will be responsible for formulating and implementing office policies and procedures(HIPPA etc.), ensuring that they are in line with best practices and regulatory requirements.

Working with physicians and other healthcare professionals: You will work with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure that the office is providing quality patient care.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of Electronic Health Record (E.H.R)(Athena is a plus)
  • Knowledge of front office processes to include end-of-day procedures
  • Knowledge of practice management systems functionalities and proper administration of information that should be captured and maintain in the system
  • Knowledge of principles of employee development to ensure appropriate training and mentoring of team members.
  • Knowledge of office technology, including Excel and Word.
  • Sufficient knowledge of policies and procedures to accurately answer questions from internal and external customers.
  • Knowledge and understanding of patient confidentiality HIPAA guidelines.

Skills:

  • Skill in identifying problems, researching, and recommending solutions.
  • Skill in developing and maintaining high level of quality care/quality assurance.
  • Skill in exercising high degree of initiative, judgment, discretion, and decision making.
  • Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with other employees, organizations, and the public.

Experience:

  • Computer Literate with exposure to billing and practice management systems

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
