We are currently recruiting for a Full-Time Medical Day Care Registered Nurse (RN) to join our skilled pediatric team in Voorhees, NJ.

Voorhees Pediatric Facility (VPF) has grown into a nationally recognized pediatric specialty care center that offers 119 in-patient beds and the largest freestanding pediatric ventilator program in the country. VPF continues to be recognized as a leader in pediatric healthcare, and in 2013 VPF received the highest accreditation awarded by The Joint Commission. In addition, VPF has expanded to include The Bancroft School at Voorhees Pediatric Facility, Voorhees Pediatric Facility Medical Daycare, and Voorhees Pediatric Rehabilitation Services (VPRS). POSITION SUMMARY:

Coordinates total nursing care for patient assignment, participates in patient and family teaching and provides leadership by working collaboratively with other disciplines on the rehabilitation team in maintaining optimal standards of patient care. Supervises and delegates appropriate functions to the LPNs and Medical Day Assistants. Ensures that delegated functions are appropriately carried out; may be designated as charge nurse.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Current RN licensure
• Current CPR certification
• Minimum of one (1) year of full-time pediatric experience
• Ability to communicate effectively
