Courier Express provides shipping solutions across the New England area, specializing in expedited, same-day delivery. We are looking for a Medical Courier employee to join our team at our onsite facility in Middletown, CT. Our ideal applicant will provide prompt, courteous and professional service to multiple facilities and will also contribute to the hospital's complete range of medical services to provide unparalleled care to the public!
This position has multiple routes available which includes full-time and part-time schedules. We expect our delivery agents to be respectful and responsible with the medical items being transported. This position could involve a great deal of walking each day, as well as numerous times getting in and out of the vehicle.
Responsibilities of a Medical Delivery employee
- Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses on multiple routes
- Follow routes and time schedule
- Fast paced work environment (routed and STAT work)
- Limited driving that includes frequent trips in and out of vehicle
- Inside office pickups and deliveries

Pay: $15.00 per hour
Requirements:
Must pass background check and have clean driving record- Must pass drug screening that includes testing for marijuana (Federal/DOT requirement)
- Must be at least 23 years old
- Must be available Monday-Friday, normal business hours
- Have basic operational knowledge of smart devices: phones, tablets, GPS, Bluetooth
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
