Medical Billing Specialist
Pediatric clinic that has outsourced their billing services. Work as an in house Liaison with our Revenue Cycle Management Team. This position is Monday through Friday 8:30 - 12:30. Must maintain strict confidentiality, display ethical conduct and professionalism at all times.
PART TIME: M-F 8:30 - 12:30
$24 per hour
Working with the RCM team to provide necessary information for them to process claims
Post/apply patient payments
Check Superbills for accuracy
Forward copies of all paper EOB’s received from payers through EMR non-patient directory
Ensure that credit cards on file (if available) are run for any outstanding balance
Set up credit card on file processes and obtaining permission to run card
Review and correct rejected patient statements sent to the practice via mail service
Contact patient directly for outstanding balances, reply to patient communications, manage collection processes and bad debt policies
Supply contracted fee schedules
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

Experience:
- ICD-10: 1 year (Preferred)
